Susan Chase
Susie Chase, the principal at Open Minds, has more than 30 years of experience as a consultant, nonprofit executive, researcher and clinician. She has lead dozens of strategic planning efforts for organizations of all sizes and conducted program evaluations for multi-site projects in the arts, early childhood education and public health.
Earlier in her career, she was the founder and executive director of Working Order, a nonprofit small business incubator that served entrepreneurs who often faced obstacles to traditional employment, including people with disabilities, individuals who were formerly incarcerated, or immigrants just getting started in the U.S.
A certified speech-language pathologist, Susie has managed multiple large-scale research projects in the field of rehabilitation and has worked in varied clinical settings including early intervention, acute hospitals, home health and long-term care.
